Obituary of Marsha Marie McNeil LaPointe

Marsha Marie (McNeil) LaPointe, 76 Reserve Mines, N.S. It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Marsha Marie (McNeil) LaPointe announce her passing in the Glace Bay Healthcare Complex, on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Marsha was the daughter of the late Patrick and Olive (McIntyre) McNeil. Marsha loved a good game of cards with the Sunday Night ladies, and spending time with her family and friends. Survived by a son Ronald LaPointe (Ann Marie Lord), Montreal, daughter Denise LaPointe, Montreal; two sisters Debbie (Wayne) MacNamara, Reserve Mines, and Agnes McNeil, Toronto; four grandchildren: Brianna, Cassia, Sean and Allison; nieces and nephews Wayne (Raylene), Beau (Marlene), Brian (Jenna), Brooklyn, Connor, Laurissa, Nathan, Haidley, and special nephew Michael. Along side her parents, Marsha was predeceased by her husband Clarence, and siblings Alex, Billy, Cecil, and Ronnie. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held in St. Eugene’s Cemetery, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 2 p.m., under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
