HOPPER, Arthur Malcolm – of Beaver Bank, formerly of Fall River, passed away on December 8, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary with family by his side. He was born in Shenstone, New Brunswick, the oldest of five children of the late Ronald and Effemia (MacLean) Hopper. Art worked as a well driller as a young man and spent the rest of his career at Nova Scotia Power Tuft’s Cove. Art was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara (Hayes), daughter Natalie (Robb) Kelly, son Brent (Sarah), grandchildren Taylor Kelly, Connor and Abigail, brother Leonard “Len” (Pat), and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Art was predeceased by his brother, Ronald “Junior” and sisters, Sylvia Molitor and Catherine “Trudy” Evanoff. As per his wishes, there will not be a service. Family and friends are invited to a sharing of memories and stories on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at his niece, Holly’s home, 53 Windsor Junction Road.
