Obituary of Linda Wilson

Linda (Jewells) Wilson Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Linda Wilson on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney with her family by her side. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Carrie (Dean) Jewells. She was employed with Hopkins Fish Plant for many years. Linda enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends, and she love animals. She will be missed by all who knew her. Linda is survived by her sons, Bradley (Kim) and James (Tammy); her precious grandchildren, Emerson and Zaccary; her sisters, Ethel, Myrna (David George); brothers, Eddie (Norita), Roy (Carol), John (Linda), Terry (Natalie), Carl (Jeanette), Blaine (Susan), Gary; brother-in-law, Clifford Hoban; godchildren, Kara and Jamey; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Watson Wilson; sisters, Diane and Carrie and brother-in-law, John Spencer. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 with Rev. Ruby Carter officiating at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). Reception to follow. Burial to take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the Feral Cat Society or Palliative Care Unit, CBRH or a charity of choice.
