William Everette Power, 70

We regret to announce the untimely passing of William Everette Power on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, William was the son of the late William and Mary Power.


William was a qualified electrician by trade and was a member of the Local Electricians Union.


Surviving William is his spouse of 38 years Carol Bond; sons: Jason Power and Derek Power; a sister Diane Doucette Ryan, Ontario; as well as two grandchildren and great grandchildren.


Along with his parents, William was predeceased by brothers Donald and Dougie; sister Donna; and a son in infancy, William Power.


Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
