Angus ‘Butch’ LeForte Glace Bay The family of Angus ‘Butch’ LeForte are saddened to convey the news of his passing after a lengthy illness on May 20, 2024, in the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, New Waterford. He was a man of great faith and prayers who loved long car rides and cigarettes. Butch is survived by his long-time companion Carmel Wadden; children, Lorelle Baxter, David LeForte and his four children, Rena Hamilton, and her daughter. He is also survived by his sisters Ann Monfalcone, Mary (John) Taylor, and brother Danny (Cathy) LeForte, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mary and Angus, he was predeceased by his brother Ronald. Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Services, Glace Bay. 902-849-4199. A Memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in St. Anne’s Church, Main St., with Fr Macleen Anyanwu officiating. Burial to take place in St. Anthony’s Church Cemetery.
