Obituary of David McIntyre

David McIntyre Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of David McIntyre, age 50, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at home. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Mary McIntyre Campbell and stepson of Ron Campbell. David loved to go fishing and spend time at the river’s edge, always hoping to catch the big one. He enjoyed watching sports, such as hockey and baseball, along with playing darts. David is survived by his parents, Mary and Ron; brother, Derrick McIntyre, Calgary; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, especially Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike (Mary) as well as his best friend, Tracy. David was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Emily McIntyre and his dog Harley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 10:00 to 12: p.m. at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199).
