It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence, age 73, mother, wife, sister and grandmother, on December 22, 2017. She was a stay at home mom.

She is survived by her husband, Blair; sons, Stephen (Kelly), John; daughter, Laurie (Terry); grandchildren, Chris, Kennedy, Chance and Marissa. She is also survived by sisters, Loretta (Robbie), Mary, Blanche and Esther. She was predeceased by her parents, Blanche and John Tracey; daughter, Tanya; sister, Diane.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiating at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
