Obituary of Byron F. Whynot

It is with sadness that the family of Byron Francis Whynot, age 79, of Brooklyn, announce his passing on December 20th, 2018, in Halifax.
Born in Milton NS, he was the son of the late Forman and Annie (Beeler) Whynot.
In Byrons youngers years, he was a welder and car salesman, and later an employee of the NS Power Corp from where he retired. Over the years, he spent time fishing, hunting, enjoyed drives with his wife, and walks with his companion Jake. Byrons family was his everything, and he was always there for them.
Byron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine (Colp); daughters Bridget (Brian) Dorey and Joanne (Kevin) Colp; grandchildren Matthew and Brittany McKinnon, and Kyle and Kayleigh Colp; great grandchildren Madisyn Seward, Maria and Callum McKinnon, Landon Colp, Kaylin Lavender, and Lindsey and Miranda Robart.
Beside his parents, Byron was predeceased by brother Kenneth Whynot and sister Violet Mansfield.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212).
As per Byrons wishes, there will be no service, and a private interment will take place at a later date.
