Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Audrey Rowe’s love of life and humour didn’t come to an end with her death. Audrey passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, at the age of 82, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Audrey. She loved to bake goodies for her family and friends, had a passion for knitting and crocheting, enjoyed reading and most of all, an unwavering faith. Audrey was born on March 10, 1942, to the late Walter and Helen (MacDonald) Beers in Emerson, New Brunswick. Audrey is survived by her loving husband, Donald Rowe. After first meeting at the school for the blind years prior, Audrey and Don reacquainted and have been blessed to share 17 years of love, laughter, and family. She was the proud mother of five children who she raised with unconditional faith, love, and support. Sons Jim (Michelle) MacEachern, and Joe (Trish) MacEachern; daughters Darlene (MacEachern) Kavanagh, Melanie (Joey) Wilson, Margie (Kevin) Vickers and stepdaughter Denice (Angelo) Carere. Loving sister to brothers Robert Beers, Ronald (Angela)Beers, Lorne (Shelley) Beers and sisters Mary (Ralph) Williston and Carol Daigle. Audrey’s 11 grandchildren were a bright light in her life: Leah Kavanagh, Brett Kavanagh, Joey Wilson, Jade MacEachern, Tori Wilson, Amber Vickers, Kaiden MacEachern, Ewan MacEachern, Callum MacEachern, Alysa Carere, and Dante Carere. She is also survived by brother-in-law William Rowe, sister-in-law, and Debbie (Cameron) Sheppard. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Eleanor Beers, grandson JP Lauzon, brother-in-law Val Daigle, sisters-in-law Faye Beers and Hilda (MacDonald) Rowe and Louise (Richard) McNair. Her departure leaves a deep void felt by her entire family and many dear friends in her community. A celebration of life will be held in Audrey’s honour on Sunday May 12, 2024, at her cherished Faith Baptist Church 299 Stokil Dr., Lower Sackville, NS at 1 pm.
