Hi Colleen , My sincere condolences to you and your family. Although I only recently met Art ,I could tell he was a kind caring compassionate person. I felt an immediate connection and we had some great conversations and shared a lot of laughs. I know he wil be greatly missed by you ,your family and all who knew him. My condolences to Colleen and my cousins, Brian and David. I’m going to miss uncle Art very much. He was such an amazingly kind person to everyone, especially those he loved. I’ll always cherish my memories at the cottage on the Mira. He’d let me float in the donut for as long as I liked! I’m so lucky to have had him as my great-uncle and am grateful for the memories he passed down. Attached is a photo of me in Art’s lap, my brother (Cam) with my Nana’s cat, and my Nana. Art’s commitment to family was so beautiful. He helped facilitate a connection between me and my great Nana Jones and made sure that I spent time with her and got to enjoy her lemon meringue pies (my mom’s favourite). Without him, I wouldn’t have had that. But more than anything, I’m going to miss making him laugh. Sorry we cannot all be together in person to celebrate Art’s life. I hope he’s resting peacefully now with my mom, Nana and Grandpa Jones. I love you all, Kelsey

Danny and Mila send their heartfelt condolences out to Colleen, David, Brian and Family for the sad loss of Arthur! My cousin Arthur and I have known each other since sandbox days and I can honestly say, he never failed to impress me with his decency, generosity (always gave me his hand me down clothes) and loyalty to "all" his family and friends! Ater he met Colleen, he wouldn't listen to me anymore and that's when I knew he was in Good Hands! Bon Voyage Mon Ami!

I had the privilege and honour of meeting Art, while Art and I were patients at the QE2. We kept our connection for a few months with a new puppy dog that I adopted. Chip is the dog’s name and Art sincerely enjoyed receiving photos of Chip that my daughter, Taylor, sent. Art—until our paths cross again. -Blaise
