PEACH, Bradley Wallace Alberta/ formerly of Glace Bay It is with broken hearts we, the family of Bradley Wallace Peach, regret to announce his sudden passing on Friday, December 29, 2017 in Calgary Alberta. Born on May 2, 1979 in Glace Bay, Bradley is the son of Roy and Shauna (Churney) Peach. Bradley is survived by his loving partner, Cindy Talbot and their fur babies, Jezabelle and Talulla; daughters, Alanah and Alexis; step daughters, Jasmine and Destiny, and his two sisters, Erin Peach and Angela (Michael) Southwell. The only thing bigger than Bradley’s heart was his smile. He was a man who loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking and spending time with his fur babies and best friend/brother Josh and cousin Glen. Brad was a resident, graduate and peer support at Simon’s House, keeping involved with many of the residents lending a patient ear when called upon. Brad was a proud graduate of the Calgary Drug Treatment Court and took pride in being asked to speak for them at any of their engagements. He understood the importance of having a spiritual connection and supported both Celebrate Life Recovery at the Central United Church and Wild Rose United Church. Brad Greatly supported the 12 Step Recovery Program and gave back to the community with his service work and through speaking out at various Mental Health and Addiction Programs. Bradley received his 4-year sobriety coin on December 20, 2017. Brad had a passion for our Veteran’s and worked tirelessly fundraising and writing memorials for the Canadian Fallen Heroes Foundation. He was also a proud member of the Canadian Royal Legion volunteering his time working a route and collecting for the Poppy Fund for Veteran’s who served their country. Bradley loved his family dearly and held his daughters in his heart. He gave back to those who helped him and touched so many people’s lives in such a short time. He was a father, son, brother, friend and partner. Brad was a bright and shining star for those in need and was there supporting some in their darkest moments. Rest in Peace Bradley, there will be a new Bright Star in the Heavens tonight. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiating, at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS; 902-849-4199.Donations made in memory of Bradley can be made to a charity of one’s choice. “Remain teachable.” Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Peach family by visiting www.tjtracey.com.
