Obituary of Theresa Diane Powers

Theresa Diane Powers, 67 Glace Bay, N.S. We the family of Theresa Diane Powers are heartbroken to announce her passing on March 26, 2024, in the QEII Hospital, Halifax, N.S. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Kennedy. Theresa is survived by a son Bobby (Robert Leo) Powers; brothers: Kenneth (Linda) Kennedy, Frederick (Donna) Kennedy, and Naish (Bernice) Kennedy; sisters: Donna Brinston, Linda (Thomas) Gouthro, Mary (Steve) MacLeod, and Cathy (Delmar) MacDonald; she is also survived by her first husband Victor Powers; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her partner Henry Ludyka, brother David Kennedy, sister-in-law Patricia Kennedy, as well as a brother and sister in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and compassion of T.J.
