Obituary of John David Osborne

June 29, 1951 – March 8, 2024 John passed peacefully after a long illness at Cape Breton Regional Hospital on March 8, 2024 with dedicated staff by his side. John was a beloved resident of Breton Ability Centre where he had lived since 1987. John was a quiet man who loved Pepsi, chips, old westerns, his jeans and long sleeve shirts. John is described by co-residents as kind, gentle and a good friend. John will be fondly remembered by the staff who supported him throughout the years, his friends, co-residents at Breton Ability Centre and all whose lives he touched with his kindness and gentle heart. John is pre-deceased by his loving Mother (Annie), Father, Brother (Albert) and Sister (Willena). Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, 902-539-7175. A visitation for John will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 2 pm at the funeral home.
