It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kim MacQuarrie- Hurley

at her home in Sydney.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Lenore MacLeod and the late Bernard MacQuarrie.

Kim was employed as a registered nurse for many years, working in Texas before moving back to Glace Bay. She enjoyed adult coloring. Besides her mother, Lenore, Kim is survived by her husband, Tony Hurley; daughter, Remy MacQuarrie-Hurley; brother, Shane MacQuarrie, LeValle, Quebec; special uncle, Melvin MacLeod. Kim was predeceased by her father, Bernie MacQuarrie.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
