Obituary of Shirley Marie McKenzie

Shirley MacKenzie (Marchand) LeBlanc, 87, of Halifax passed away February 11, 2024 at Northwood Manor, Halifax Centre. Born February 24, 1936 in Halifax NS, she was the daughter of Louis and Marie LeBlanc. She was a member of the Halifax Club on Barrington Street and she worked for many years at the Brass Rail Restaurant in Fairview. Shirley loved to paint, and she loved singing. Shirley is predeceased by husband's, Willie Marchand & Jake MacKenzie; brother, Henry; and sister, Emily (Pete) McNally. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Kathy), Vincent, Bruce; daughters, Christine Brown, Elizabeth Marchand, Rosaline Watson, Carol Robins, Tanya Morley; brother, Michael LeBlanc; sister, Yvonne (Edward) Gage, Betty (Brian) MacDonald, Linda (Michael) Gage, and Janet LeBlanc & Michael Nightingale. A Memorial Service will be held February 24, 2024 at 10:00am in T.J Tracey Cremation & Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS B3S 1C4
