Obituary of Carol King

Carol Ann King passed away at home on February 1, 2024. Born November 21, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Helen King (Bowser). She leaves behind her brother Doug King (Anne King), nieces Susan Legge (David Groves), Lindsay King, and Andrea King (Colin Francis), and nephew James Legge (Joselyn Legge). Carol was predeceased by her beloved sister, Joan Legge. Carol worked both at the YWCA in Halifax and as a social worker at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre. She was a tireless advocate for her clients and patients. In her retirement she was a caring member of the community and went out of her way to lend a helping hand to neighbours. She was loved and will be missed. There will be no visitation or service at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
