Obituary of Deborah Ann Rose
Please share a memory of Deborah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Deborah Ann Rose, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in the hospital on January 26th, 2024. She was surrounded by love as she transitioned from this world to the next.
Deborah's memory will forever live on through her son, Bobby McGuire; daughter-in-law, Amanda; her Grandsons, Shane, Carter; sisters, Corrine and Pam; brothers, Mike and David; nieces, Amber and Kaileigh; and Nephew, Alex.
Born in Halifax on April 13th, 1953. Deborah dedicated her early years to helping run the family business at Rose’s Grocery. Her outgoing personality and ability to make friends with anyone, made her adored throughout Klein Heights and Cowie Hill. Her hard work ethic was evident during her time at Sears Call Centre where she won numerous customer service awards. Music held a special place in Deborah’s heart; she loved singing and to go dancing with her sister Corrine, while listening to melodies played by her brother. She loved to tell endless tales of when her father travelled and played guitar around Halifax. Deborah’s generosity knew no bounds; an avid shopper who loved buying clothing and toys for Shane and Carter, her beloved grandsons. She found immense joy in providing for them. Her selflessness extended beyond material possessions as she always put others' needs before hers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Stephen McGuire; her parents Gordon Rose (father) & Gloria Rose (mother).
Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax. Where a celebration of life will take place on Tuesday February 6, 2024 from 1pm-3pm. To leave words of condolence for the family please visit: www.tjtracey.com.
