Sheila Mary Illstone, 76, of Hammonds Plains, passed away January 21, 2018 at home. She was born in Newark, England.

In retirement Sheila volunteered at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

She is survived by daughters Sue Nesto and Patricia White, sister Christine Kowalczuk, grandchildren Phillip and Keith Pottie, and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Please feel free to wear Sheila’s favorite colour, purple, to her celebration of life on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2-4pm at the Halifax Christian Church, 51 Farham Gate Rd., Halifax.
