Sheila Ann Lucille Coles (nee Ring), of Terence Bay, passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic automobile accident at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 80. Cremation has taken place. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Ida Ring. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Mia), Goulds (NL) and Christopher (Danene), Nanoose Bay (BC). Dear grandmother of Mark, Luke, Kyle and Krista (Corey), with whom she had a special bond. Adoring great-grandmother of Cole, Campbell and Willa. Also survived by two sisters, Barbara Forbes (Bill) of Halifax (NS) and Jeannette Jollimore (Richard) of Okotoks (AB), and one brother, Ronald (Lois) of Blackfalds (AB). She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and her very special Aunt Udvella. Her partner, Kenneth (Chip) Cole, will also miss her dearly. She was a lifelong hair stylist with a vibrant personality, a zest for life and was the life of the party. She was generous and enjoyed volunteering at hands to hands and bingo in Terence Bay. She led an active lifestyle and loved to hit the dancefloor for hours. She was fashionable, loved animals, and will be remembered for her church involvement. She loved to cook and bake. A special thank you to the emergency responders and medical staff who attended to her after the vehicle accident. Service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Terence Bay, NS, at 1:30pm on Saturday, January 20th with Reverend Cate Ratcliffe officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, 180 Sandy Cove Road, Terence Bay, NS, B3T 1Y5, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, or a charity of your choice.
