Obituary of Judith Diane Withrow
Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Withrow, Judith Diane (Sheridan), age 76, of Halifax passed away at home from Pulmonary Fibrosis on January 23, 2018.
I was a daughter of the late T. Leroy and Myrtle (Horne) Sheridan. I was also predeceased by sisters, Joan Cameron and Jackie Sheridan.
I enjoyed working at several jobs over the years, working for Woolworths, Light and Power, Casino Taxi where I dispatched and drove taxi, and also for Canada Post. I was a member of St. Paul’s United Church where I enjoyed singing in the choir and being a member of the U.C.W. I enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, baking, bowling, swimming and reading up until three years ago when it became difficult for me to continue doing the things I loved. Lew tirelessly took care of me daily to ensure I was always comfortable and taken care of and able to stay home where I wanted to be most.
Survived by my loving husband of 56 years, Lew; sons, David (Cheryl), Dartmouth, Dana (Debbie), Halifax; Ricco (Debbie), Kirk, Trevor, all of Dartmouth; daughter Tina, Halifax; sister, Joy (Don) Spence, PEI; and several grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27 from 1-2 pm with funeral service immediately following at 2 pm all in St. Paul’s United Church, 293 Etter Road, Mount Uniacke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church, 293 Etter Road, Mount Uniacke.
