Obituary of Linda Dawn Bray
Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Age 83, Bedford, passed away on January 9, 2024 in Northwood Bedford- Ivany Place. Born in Notre Dame, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Johnston.
Dawn baked and decorated her grandchildren's birthday cakes and she never missed any of their sporting events or concerts. She loved horses and even took riding lessons at the age of sixty-four. Dawn also loved watching and participating in curling. She was an avid Mooseheads fan and held season tickets with Vic. Dawn wrote a history of her home village Notre Dame. She was very proud of her three boys' accomplishments over the years and enjoyed her growing family. Dawn had a wonderful collection of porcelain dolls which she displayed in her home. But most of all she waited all year for the Christmas season which was her favorite time of the year. She never wanted it to end. She will be truly missed by all that loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Victor Bray; sons, Jeff (Debbie), Stephen (Kelly) and Chris (Shiralee); brother, Sandy (Cecile); brother-in-law, Guy Allain; sister-in-law, Dale Hall; grandchildren, Mirinda, Freeman, and Keiran; several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Judy Allain.
Interment at a later date in Notre Dame, NB. Donations in memory of Dawn can be made to the Northwood Foundation or your local food bank.
