Obituary of Aimable Leonard Marchand

Aimable Leonard Marchand passed away peacefully December 18, 2023 at the age of 88. Son of the late, Edward and Loraine Marchand. Survived by his sister, Madeline Callahan; nephews, Leo Callahan, Paul Callahan, Barry Jewers; nieces, Kim Fader, Debbie Schrader. He was predeceased by his sister, Marie; and brother, Donald. Leonard worked for Imperial Oil on a tanker. He travelled extensively around the world. Leonard had many other jobs throughout his life including Hibow painting company where he was the CEO and only employee. He also worked at a young age as an elevator operator where he used to say the job had its ups and downs. Later in life he drove for Yellow Cab and Ace taxi. He will be missed by many. Many thanks to the Hospital staff at the QEII Victoria General Hospital 9B. A private service will be held at a later date.
