Obituary of Shirley Shubley

Age 92 of Terence Bay passed away on January 1, 2024 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Terence Bay, NS, she was a daughter of the late, Arthur and Bertha Shubley. Shirley worked for Moir’s Chocolates, Dalhousie University and enjoyed dancing in her younger years. Later in life Shirley enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and watching hockey. She is survived by her son, Scott (Carrie Anne) Shubley; sister, Jean MacDonald; grandchildren, Chloe and Owen Shubley. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marie Slaunwhite, Mildred Shubley, and Leona Deal. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, B3S 1C4, 902-835-4212, where visitation will take place on January 13, 2024 from 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Special thank you to her neighbours in the Back Bay, and the staff of the QEII ER POD 7 whom provided end of life care to Shirley.
