Obituary of Yvonne Morash

It is with deep sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Yvonne Morash from Halifax, NS. Born in West Dover, NS she was a daughter of Gordon and Myrtle Morash. She leaves to mourn her son, Christopher German (Stephanie); and her six beloved grandchildren, Emily, Zachary, Madison, Sarah, Hannah, Noah and best friend Trinda Riley. Yvonne came from a big family and leaves to mourn her brothers, Kenneth (Doris), Harold (Francis), Billy (Cheryl), David (Susan), Danny (Tammy), Paul (Tina), Darren (Lois) and Clayton; sisters, Frida (Lawrence), Doreen and Gertrude; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Myrtle Morash; son, Roy German; daughter, Trinda; and brothers, Walter, Raymond, Jack and Carmen. Yvonne spent her working life working as a chief, cleaner and superintendent. She enjoyed the many friendships she made over the years while she was working. Yvonne was a devoted daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, Aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Yvonne’s pride and joy was her family and friends, especially her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed by many. Heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care unit 7A at the VG for the loving and devoted care you gave to Yvonne in her final days. Memorial visitation will be held in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, NS B3S 1C4 on December 29th from 6pm-8pm.
