Obituary of Anna Margaret Chapdelaine

Anna Margaret Chapdelaine passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, at the age of 93, with her loving family at her side. Anna was the daughter of the late Rod and Elizabeth Johnston. She is survived by her sons, Fred, and Carter (Pam); grandchildren, Brandon, Clinton, and Nicole (Scott) Joly; sisters, Margaret MacDonnel, Roberta MacDougall, Beverly (Irvine) Brown, and Lorraine (Terry) Critch. Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Peter Chapdelaine; brothers, John, Robert, Edward, Mike, William, Donald, Raymond; sisters, Margaret, Mary, Laura, Kaye, Martha, and Betty. Anna was the supervisor at General Instruments for many years. She loved her outings at the casino and many tarabish games with her sister Margaret MacDonnel. Special thanks to the staff of Harbourstone , St. Ann Bay, for their special care. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, N.S. 902-539-7175. Visitation will take place in the T.J. Tracey Funeral Home on Thursday, November 16, from 9-11 am, with a Celebration of Life following at 11 am, in the Chapel, Fr. Conrad Edwards officiating.
