Obituary of Terrence Murray Hallett

Hallett, Terrence Murray, P. Eng, MBA Age 76 of Bedford passed away peacefully in the QEII – 9 Lane, on Sunday, February 11, 2018 with his daughter Meghan at his side. Born in Kirkland Lake, ON, he was the son of the late Patricia (Murray) and Harold Hallett. He was also predeceased by his step-mother Mimi Hallett (Richard) and his mother-in-law Lenore Ritcey (Greig). He is lovingly remembered by his wife Janet (Greig), his daughter Meghan Hallett and son-in-law Troy Mott, and his grandchildren Benjamin and Bridget Mott. His is also survived by his brother Patrick (Trish) and his step-brother Paul Richard (Cristina), sister-in-law Carol (Tim) Herbert; brother-in-law John Greig and nieces Katie Herbert, Carly Sherwin (Ryan), Emily Hallett and nephew John (Nancy) Herbert. Terry graduated from Carleton University with a degree in electrical engineering and St. Mary’s University with an MBA. His career took him to Nova Scotia, Massachusetts, and Ontario before he and his family permanently settled in Bedford in 1976. Terry’s interests were diverse and included sports, carpentry, technology and music. He was most happy when he was spending time with family at the cottage he built at Cape John. A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2018 from 2-4pm at St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd, Bedford.
