It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our brother Wayne Caume on April 21, 2019, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Reserve Mines, Wayne was the son of the late Raymond and Vera Caume.
Wayne will be sadly missed by his sisters, Muriel (Murray), Valerie (Steve); brothers, John (Aurora), Jerry (Karen), Dale (Cathy), and Dana (Carol). Wayne will also be missed by his godchild Shawn and his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brothers, Ray and Blair,his sister Louise, and nephew, Greg.
Wayne was a kind and gentle man and was well known in the community of Reserve Mines. He was a member of the Reserve Mines Pensioners Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 2, and Dominion Kinsmen.
Visitation for Wayne will take place on Thursday April 25 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay.Funeral Mass will take place 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26 at St. Joseph Church, Main St., Reserve Mines with Father James Oliver officiating. Burial willbe at a later date.
Donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund or a charity of choice.
