Obituary of Jane Cluett

Jane Cluett Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Jane Frances Cluett, age 75 at Taigh Na Mara, on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Angus ‘Buddy’ and Jane (Quann) MacDonald. Jane was a member of numerous dart leagues, sold Avon over the years and had many great customers. She loved going to yard sales. She will be missed by all who knew her. Jane is survived by her loving children, Albert Cluett (Tammy), Shearwater, N.S., Annette Cluett, Glace Bay; her grandson Adrian, who had a special place in her heart; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Alex, Matthew (Bella), Justin, Ethan and Alexis; her precious great grandchildren, Bennett and Ceiclya. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Mary Kennedy. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Kidney Foundation. A special thank you to the staff of Taigh Na Mara; thank you to the dialysis clinics in Sydney and Glace Bay.
