Obituary of Florence Elizabeth MacLeod Lockman

Florence Elizabeth MacLeod Lockman Sydney/ Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Florence Lockman, age 72, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Chester and Florence MacLeod. Florence is survived by her husband of 25 years, Sylvester Lockman; her four sons, Adrian MacLeod (Jeannette), ON, Chester MacLeod, Sydney, Keith (Kim) MacLeod, ON, James (Amanda) MacLeod, ON; three daughters, Viola (Paul)Scola, Melissa MacLeod (Shane), both of Ontario, Paula MacLeod, Sydney; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Clyde) Moores, ON, Lucy MacIsaac, Glace Bay; brother, Alex (Rose) MacLeod, Winnipeg; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Adrian MacLeod (1976). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 9 – 11 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS 902-849-4199. Reception to follow.
