I'm so heartbroken to hear of Norreen ("Reen", to me) passing. Reen was my long time babysitter since I was about 5 years old. I spent many summer days, and after-school hours with Reen, taking the bus into Sydney to walk through the shops and see the buskers when they were in town. Reen was honest, and kind, and always encouraged me to speak my mind and stand up for myself. Yet she always held me accountable when I was in the wrong, and taught me many valuable lessons about life. As I grew older, and moved away from Sydney, our visits became less and less, but I thought of her often. I always thought I would have the chance to visit her again. Melissa, Christopher, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Reen was an unbelievably special person, and someone who I'm proud to say played such an important role in my childhood. I'll carry the memories of her with me for the rest of my life <3

I am so very sorry to hear the news about my cousin Noreen. We were best friends when we were children being only 4 months apart in age. I think I spent more time at her house then I did at my own. I know her precious family will miss her so very much. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Christopher, Melissa, Bob, Darryl, Leo and family; So very sorry to hear of Noreen’s passing! I was one of the girls getting a perm in Noreen’s kitchen on Caribou Marsh road… we had lots of good times over the years playing cards, drinking tea and occasionally going shopping. Although drifting away, it was always nice to catch up with Noreen at Sobeys or Walmart, it was interesting to share stories and pictures of our grandchildren.
