Obituary of Audrey Williamson

Audrey Leone Williamson Port Morien It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our loving mother , grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Audrey Williamson on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Seaview Manor with her son and niece by her side. Born in Port Morien, she was the daughter of the late Hughie and Annie Mae (Nearing) McDonald. Audrey is survived by her children, Joanne, Paul (Lois), Gary and Michael (Denise) Donovan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Susan; brother, Gus (Shirley) as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charlie ‘Chaz’ Williamson; son David; grandson, Neil Bray and great grandson, Joseph MacDonald; sisters, Helen, Camille, Joan and Patricia; brothers, Fabian and Hugh. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding. A family private burial will be held in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Archie and Catherine MacPhee Bursary – CBU. A very special thank you to her nieces Cathy Burrows and Stephanie Morrison, for all that you have done for our mother. The family would also like to thank you the staff of Seaview Manor including, kitchen staff, maintenance staff, the cleaners, and the nursing staff.
