Obituary of Ronald Gordon Muir

Muir, Ronald Gordon, 73 Bedford, N.S. It is with deep heartache that we the family of Ronald Gordon Muir, Bedford, NS, announce his passing on August 19, 2023, at his home on the Mira. Ron was the son of the late Norman and Lena (Tupper) Muir of Scotsburn. Ron was a graduate of the University of Mount Allison, Acadia, and Dalhousie. He was employed with the Halifax Regional School Board with over 35 years of service, he taught Special Education, in Classroom, and Resource, and was also Principal throughout his career. Ron will be sadly missed by his wife Arlene (Hinchey), and a son Michael (Kirsten) of Calgary; he is also survived by a brother Jim (Jacky) and their children, Chelsea, and Shannon; sister Lynn and her daughter, Tiffany. As per Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199.
