Obituary of Jimmy Dunn

James ‘Jimmy’ Dunn Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James ;Jimmy’ Dunn, age 67, on Monday, august 14,2023 on the Palliative care Unit, at the Glace Bay Hospital. Jimmy made a peaceful journey to heaven with his loving sister-in-law Theresa by his side. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late John and Cleophus (MacDonald) Dunn. Jimmy was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs Fan and a regular at the Sterling Mall, Glace Bay and McKeen St. Tim Horton’s. Jimmy had a great faith in God and attended church regularly. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Theresa (Walsh); his best friend and nephew, Michael, Glace Bay; sister, Muriel Bates; brothers, Maurice, Joey and Donnie all of Ontario as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his brother Butch; sisters, Catherine, Irene and Leona. Cremation has taken place. As per requested by Jimmy, there will be no visitation or service. A family private burial at a later date. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care. A heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took great care of Jimmy on 3 South Glace Bay General Hospital. Rest in Peace, we love you Jimmy. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to T.J.
