To Heather’s Family:
There are no words at this time of sorrow. I know Heather would rather laughter than tears, so I will tell you all a little story about a night out in Halifax with Heather and Sam Cole (I hope they had a wonderful reunion in Heaven). Heather called us up and said, “There’s a great band playing at Privateers tonight, why don’t three three of us go?” So we all agreed to meet there at a certain time. Well, let’s just say Sam was not impressed at all with the “band” which consisted of a violin (not fiddle), a chello, flute, obo. Needless to say, neither was I. Heather was right into it! When the evening was over, Sam turned and said, “Heather, the next time you invite me out, please don’t,” we had a great night all in all and the three of us did venture out many more times, but nothing classical was involved! May she’s rest in peace. She was the kindest soul and I know there is a special place in heaven for her. Our sincerest sympathy and prayers to you all. ‘Til we meet again, Heather.
