Obituary of Mary Margaret Lynk-Lund
It is with broken hearts that we the family of Margie Lund, regret to announce her peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Hospice Palliative Care, Sydney N.S. It would be wrong to say that Mom lost her battle because she never gave up fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When many would have broken, Mom stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Mom. Just because she is no longer here, doesn't mean she lost her fight.

Margie is survived by her sons Brian (Shelley) Lund, Sydney and James Lund, Sydney, and her two precious grandsons, Justin (Kori) and Brandon (Taylor).
She is survived by her sisters: Effie (the late Joe) MacCormick, French Road, Marie (Denny) Dares, Marion Bridge, Freda (the late Dougie) Young, French Road, and her brother Jimmy (the late Sandra) Lynk, Big Ridge.
