Obituary of Patrick Fukala

Patrick Daniel Fukala Glace Bay Patrick Daniel Fukala, age 47, of Glace Bay passed away August 3, 2023, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Norma McDonald. Patrick worked as a residential worker at Breton Ability. He had a soft spot for all his clients. He was an avid camper who loved a good time along with a big fire. He was the kindest soul who would lend a hand whenever needed. He had the title of jack of all trades. His passing will be a huge loss to humanity. He is survived by his loving partner, Dawn Roberts of 3 years; son Joshua; daughters, Kelsey, Rebecca, Jorja, Alivya and Braelyn; sisters Nanette (Jason Inch), Tammy (Lloyd Thomas); grandchildren, Bobby Jo, Layla, Genevieve. He is also survived by Ma2, aunts, uncles as well as several nephews and nieces. Patrick was predeceased by his mother, Norma McDonald and maternal grandparents Roy and Rose McDonald; paternal grandparents, Dot and Emil Fukala. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 1-2 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 2p.m. with Lily MacDonald officiating, all taking place in T.J.
