Obituary of Merwyn Bruce Young

Merwyn has been in Hospice for the last 5 months, where he was loved and cared for by wonderful Dr's. To nursing staff to cleaners to administration. We were truly blessed by our Lord and Savior to allow this time and place to end his journey here on earth. Merwyn leaves behind his wife Honey, our families and friends near and far, but waited for them in heaven. Merwyn loved to fish, camp, and plant his garden, and playing cards with his buddies. He had a dream where he was the keeper of the garden in heaven. The colors were like nothing here on earth. Brilliant and glass like. Merwyn’s wish was to be with his Lord. He blew out his candles on July 31, 2023. Cremation has taken place. His ashes will be spread at a later Date at Phinney’s cove, Annapolis County where he spent many happy days growing up. Celebration of life will be held at New Hope Wesleyan Church at 7054 hwy 12 Kentville Nova scotia at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Hospice, Kentville,Nova Scotia
