It is was the deepest sadness, that I announce the passing of my mother, Georgina MacDonald on July 24th 2022 who fought a hard but quick battle with cancer.

She is survived by her daughter Tania Porter and grandson Christopher Iozzo. She was employed as a case worker with the Toronto Metro Housing Authority for 32 years. Her parents whom are deceased Mary Guthro and Edward Mullins respectively.

My mother loved to play bingo, watch the queen, talk to her family and friends, sit across from her building and have her coffee and doughnuts. Though the most beloved times was with her grandson Christopher Iozzo. They had a bond which was unbreakable. They were bread and butter. My mother is survived by most of her brothers and sisters and countless cousins, nieces, nephews in which she deeply loved.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding.

Refreshments in the lower level of the funeral home, with the burial to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Mom, I love you and I hope now you will be a peace.
