Obituary of Allan Alexander Kennedy

We regret to announce the passing of Allan Alexander Kennedy on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, Allan was the son of the late Edward Francis and Anne Rosella Kennedy. Allan lived and worked his entire life in Sydney, NS. He started his teaching career at Holy Angels High School and then taught various subjects at Sydney Academy for 25 years. Allan loved to travel, having twice driven across the United States and Canada. His constant companion was his dog, Maggie. Besides his wife, Allan was predeceased by his brother, Edward Gerard Kennedy and nephew, Gerard Edward Kennedy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, NS, 902-539-7175. A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
