Dear Carol and Family, May you find comfort in happy memories of a man so quick to smile, share a story or a little joke. Bud and Carol were close friends over the years with our parents, David and Theresa Moore. Bud was always ready for an outdoor adventure no matter if there was snow, rain or mosquitos! We have the pictures to prove it! His spirit, zest for life and his love for Carol and his family kept him going through the more difficult health issues he fought. He will be missed and remembered. Oh Papa, I don’t think we could have asked for a better Grandfather. You taught us strength, resilience, and humour - even during the tough times. I’ll always remember our dances, your hugs, and your smile. If you knew Papa you know how much he liked his music, one day I stole his tablet and uploaded “Papa’s Playlist” to my music library - you bet it plays on! How lucky we are to have someone like you to miss so dearly. As one of my favourite superhero’s said, “what is grief, if not love persisting”. Love you Papa Jessica

To Carol and family and Bud’s family and extended loved ones. Well a gem of a man has left this earth for his heavenly journey home and many will certainly miss Bud. We are so very sorry for your loss Carol and family and we are holding you all in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers. Our many loving memories created with Bud and Carol over the years lead us to give thanks for the gift of Bud. He was always welcoming, especially whenever we dropped in to visit at the trailer in Ben Eoin. In the earlier years the girls and friends would be in and out enjoying the many friendships they made at their family summer trailer. Then it was grandchild popping by to say hello, or perhaps enjoy a delicious snack made up by Carol to keep them going for another few hours. Jessica, with a big smile, always had a story to share with us all. We remember well Bud’s determination to see himself through his many challenges presented by Lupus. Bud was truly an inspiration and we loved him dearly and there’s no doubt Bud and Carol loved us in return. Now I have to close off because I can hardly see though these watery eyes. Lots of love, hugs and prayers always, Viola and Ivan ❤️

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your great loss. Bud was a wonderful man and I will miss seeing his face and hearing about his next project. As a child during Halloween, Bud's house was the best! He had all the awesome candy! I have so many more great memories of Bud when I would hang around Lori's house, too many to say. He'll be remembered by me as the wonderful Dad and grandfather he was.
