It is with deep sadness, that we the family of Pearl (Kaye) Routledge, of Glace Bay, announce her passing on July 3, 2023, in the Seaview Manor, Glace Bay, NS. Pearl was the daughter of the late Pearl Wadden.
One of Kaye’s biggest achievements was when she received her grade 12 Diploma in her 50’s followed by her Diploma from NSCC. Kaye was one of the first employees hired at Stream Call Center and worked there for over 15 years until her retirement. Kaye loved going to bingo, playing wild card with her family, and loved spending the summer months on the Mira with family and friends.
Kaye is survived by her husband Cameron of 62 years; 4 sons: Paul (Midge), Jimmy, Kenny (Roxane), and Jodye (Jan); 5 grandchildren: Kenny, Evan, Justin, Seth, and McKenzie; 2 great-children: Adalyn and Isabella.
Along with her mother, Kaye was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn MacPherson, Marlene Cecchetto, and brother Cameron McNeil.
Cremation has taken place, visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 12-2 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow, with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding, in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902.849.4199.
Family flowers only, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
