Obituary of Pauline Sadie MacLeod

Pauline Sadie MacLeod 1929-2023 Glace Bay, NS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline MacLeod, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at home. Born in New Waterford, NS, she was the daughter of the late Daisy (Newport) and Azeroy Jewer. Pauline was a member of Warden United Church and held the position of Treasurer for several years; she was also a member of the choir, for which she truly loved. Mom’s greatest love was for her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished spending time with each and everyone of them; Pauline treasured their family gatherings, cooking dinner, and serving her freshly homemade goodies. Pauline will be sadly missed by her children: Barbara O’Quinn, Moncton, John Jr. MacLeod (Sue), Bernie MacLeod, Debbie MacDonald, Brenda MacLeod, Darrell (Lolaine) MacLeod, Cherie MacLeod (Darryl Hill), Troy MacLeod (Crystal); siblings: Shirley Townsend and Barbara Burchell, as well as several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Along with her parents, Pauline was predeceased by son Howard, daughter Florence Broderick and son in law Billy Broderick, son in law Collie MacDonald, and grandson Kyle McMullin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., in Warden United Church, New Aberdeen. A reception will follow the service, then Burial in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J.
