Obituary of Alice M. Bodhaine

Alice Maude Bodhaine Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Alice Bodhaine, age 68, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Penny) Jones. She had a love of camping and fishing every Sunday in her younger years. Alice loved her family deeply. She will be remembered for her open door and her kind heart. Alice will be deeply missed by her loving husband and best friend of over 50 years, George Bodhaine; daughters, Debbie (James) Clow, Glace Bay, Cathy Bodhaine and Gina Bodhaine both of Reserve Mines; son, George (Tracey) Bodhaine, Edmonton; her wonderful nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, who idolized her. She is also survived by two sisters, Bertha Morgan, Charlotte (Roger) Isnor; a brother Allan (Regie) Jones, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Anna and her brother, Byron. Thank you to the Reserve Volunteer Fireman and Ambulance attendants for your help. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Alice will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiating at T.J.
