Obituary of Henry James Roache

Roache, Henry James, 77, of Halifax, passed away on March 3, 2018 in the VG Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Henry and Katherine Roache. Henry was a former employee of the City of Halifax for 27 years and a friend of Bill W. Survived by wife, Marilyn; stepson, William; brother, Michael (Patsy); granddaughter, Caitlyn; and niece Catherine Mahar and her daughters, Andrea and Jamie and grandson, Jackson. Predeceased by parents and brothers, Bernard and Thomas. Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 8 at 10:30 am in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thank you to Monica Flinn and the staff of 5A for the excellent care shown to Henry.
