Obituary of Annie Evelyn Corey

Corey, Annie Evelyn, age 85 of Halifax, passed away Friday, March 29th, 2019 at the QEII surrounded by family. Born in Burgeo, NL, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Rebecca (Keeping) Green. Annie retired from Moirs Chocolate Factory where she worked for most of her adult life. She is survived by her sister Theresa, and many nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by husband Floyd; sisters Emily, Theresa, Gladys, Elizabeth, and Mary; and brothers Nathan, William, John, Raymond, and Rupert. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212). A funeral service will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Church on Tuesday, April 16th 2019, at 11:00 am, followed by a celebration of life in the church hall after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canada Diabetes Association. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and paramedics at the QEII Halifax and staff at Northwood Manor. A special thank you also to her neighbours and close friends who were always looking out for her. She will live forever in our hearts.
