Obituary of Sandra "Ma" (MacIsaac) MacDonald

Sandra “Ma” Christina (MacIsaac) MacDonald, 79 Glace Bay, NS We the family of Sandra “Ma” MacDonald, are heartbroken to announce her passing in the Glace Bay Hospital, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, with her loved ones at her side. Ma was born in Glace Bay and was the daughter of the late Effie and John MacIsaac. Ma loved a good game of darts, bowling, and attending Bingo whenever possible. She also enjoyed her frequent walks around the Bayplex with Gladys and friends. But most importantly she valued her Sunday drives with Junior, and spending time with her children. Sandra is survived by her partner Junior Barnstable of 29 years; five daughters: Louanne (Joey) MacDonald, Lisa (Blake) Seymour, Effie MacDonald(Terri Ingram), Sonya ( the late Robert McLean), and Danielle (Chris) Murgatroyd; four brothers: Stewart, Donnie, Robert and Norman; six sisters: Isabell MacDonald, Alex Crouse, Anna Smith, Eva Whidden, Norma Curnew, and Myra Darroch; as well as eleven grandchildren: Christina, Sonya, Justin, Brandon, Haley, Kyle, Emma, Kaylene, Johnny, Bethany, and Curtis; Ten great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Noah, Ryan, Luke, Daunte, Marcus, Lettie, Cohen, Braiden, and Braelee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Along with her parents, Sandra was predeceased by a son Johnny MacDonald, three sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 3-6 p.m. in T.J.
