Lenore so very sorry to get your call on Sams passing.As you know I have known Sam for a very long time.Having first met in the late fifties on the softball field.In later years we got to hook up on the golf course at Oakfield.We played in a foursome and as well as the golf we got to tell a lot of stories from our past.I know you will miss him and so will a lot of other people.Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.Rest in peace old friend.Howie/Diana Spears.

We are all so sorry to hear of Sam's passing as he was always so full of life when he stopped in to say hello and give a great big Sam Smile when walking at the mall. We always looked forward to his visits and his cheery disposition. He will be sadly missed by the entire Guest Services Team at Mic Mac Mall.

So sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. He and Mary were friends with my parents, Alan and Kathy Faulkner, and spent a lot of time together on the ball field. In later years, whenever I ran into him, he always loved to reminisce. I have attached a clipping of the team that was inducted into the Maritime Hall of Fame. Hopefully you can make it out!
