I remember the fun and laughs we use to have when Barb would to come to visit mom (Dolly). She was a special person, a cool aunt and someone who cared a lot about others. I was heart broken to hear about Barb, spoke to a while ago on line, never knew she was sick. Barb helped me alot during my time in the military while post in Halifax, let say I never went without!! I did not know her but I knew her brother Billy and sister Doreen when we were all stationed in Shearwater. My condolences to all her family. What an amazing woman and a loss to everyone. She definitely made the world a better place.

When I read the news of the passing of my Friend, a piece of my heart left me also. I can't say how long I've know Barb or when and where we met. We just seemed to know each other when she got posted to Halifax way back when. Barb was a very giving person and always willing to help you if she could. But if you owed her she would let you know, in her nice way ( yea right). I'm going to miss our hello's when we were in each others company, it was like no time or distance had passed between us. A phone call now and then to see how each other were doing, she would never tell me her real medical situation, didn't want me to worry about her. Testament to the woman she was. You will be remembered, "Until we meet Again" To the Family, my sincere Condolences.

May God’s loving arms be around all that knew Barb you have your wings your devotion and caring will be remembered you were my dads chosen child and the love you had for him showed beyond words also beyond you genorousity to others of materialistic things but you are deeper than that I will remember you as the deep human qualities you processed to me fly high Barb give Dad a hug you were family biologically but also chosen by us growing up in the same house when you came on vacation and holidays and weekends you were one of us no different although we all had sibling drama we stuck together you will be missed hug dad for me I know you reunited with as you entered the pearly gates you will be remembered my deepest condolences to all of us that truly knew you Fly high sister fly high
