To Christine, Stephen and Marie
My sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I have warm memories from the summer of 1968, when your mother and father spent a week at Chandos Lake with me, when my parents were in Toronto, taking care of my brother who was dealing with cancer at the time. Uncle Phil went water skiing ( something i don't believe that he had done before) and cliff jumping amongst other activities with my friends. He was a lot of fun!!! I know Christine was there, but don't recall Marie or Stephen. in any event a great memory!
Hope you are all as well as you can be at this time.
Sincere Condolences
Scott Cameron

I love Dad dearly and will miss him. My heart aches. His exuberance for life and positive energy truly was infectious!
He taught me the value of family, friends, faith, hard work and never giving up.

My father-in-law, Phil embraced life and lived it to the fullest. Loved and was very proud of his children. He was a proud Grandpa and Great Grandpa. Keeping in touch with family in Nova Scotia was also important to Phil. My memories of Phil with our boys in Cambridge and Florida bring a smile to my heart. He always asked “how are they doing.” At the end of the many long phone conversations he had with Steve, Phil would always say, “Say Hi to Peggy “ I am in awe of Phil, taking care of Maureen in her final years then relocating to Nova Scotia (with the help of many people) to live out the last 3 years of his life. He was independent, happy, content and at peace. What more can a child want for their 96 year old Parent.
