Obituary of Dorothy Ann Misener

MISENER, Dorothy Ann (Dot) (Nan) 1933-2018 Age 85, of Halifax, passed away peacefully December 29th, 2018 at the Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born and raised in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Francis (Frank) And Alda Marie Carrigan. Dorothy was a wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family. She loved camping and her time spent hunting with her husband, Roy. Later in life she enjoyed reading and playing bingo. She will be fondly remembered by her strong personality and quick-witted ways. She is survived by children; Gloria (Alyre) d’Entremont, Ronald (Cheryl) , Wayne (Pamela), Barbara (James) Flemming, Paulette (Stephen) Wambolt, Kathy (Kevin) Weagle, Karen (Peter) Pellerine, And Chris Henneberry; sisters Jean Smith, Ontario, Rita LaRose and Pat Baker, both of Halifax and; 21 Grandchildren and 21 Great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Roy Misener; son Billy; sister Joyce and brothers; Gordon and Ronnie. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford (902-789-4321) A service and celebration of life will be held at the Golden Age Social Center, 212 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield, on Fridays, January 4th, at 12:30 pm., with Rev.
